Shipping & Returns Policies

We ship by Federal Express (FedEx) and on rare occasions via the United States Postal Service (USPS).
We charge shipping costs rounded up to the nearest dollar. We add a $10 handling fee, for all ground shipments, to the cost of the shipping. Additionally, we charge a $75 expediting handling charge for all expedited shipping requests (overnight & 2 day) in addition to the FedEx cost if the package is to be shipped out on that business day. No expedited charges if the package ships out the following business day.
If your place of business is located within the State of Arizona; sales tax will be charged, if a resale license is not on file with us.
Your credit card will be charged at time of shipment, if items are on back-order, we will notify you and these items will be shipped upon receipt in our facility. Multiple shipping charges may be applied. In the case of returned items, shipping charges are not refundable.
We currently do not ship to PO Boxes, but can ship to a residential address if requested. Please notify us that your shipping address is a residence, as it does affect the cost of shipping. We also insure and require a signature on all deliveries (residential & business) for orders of $200.00 or more.
Always examine your shipment when it arrives for any damage. If there is damage, notify the courier driver immediately and we recommend refusing the delivery as to assist in a quicker resolution of the damage claim.
Shipment damage claims must be filed with the shipping company directly.
Damage happens in transit occasionally, we’ll work with you and the shipper to get replacement items shipped immediately
We will accept your return of an item given the following policy:
Returns must be requested, within (10) days upon delivery of your items. Please email us at email@example.com and note in the subject line “Return Request.”
We’ll acknowledge receipt of your request and provide a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and additional instruction on how to return your item. No returns will be accepted without a RMA number on the package.
All returns will be credited back to the original credit card only. Shipping charges are not refundable. If the return is due to an error on our part, we’ll refund 100% of the sales price less any shipping costs (refunds issued to the original credit card).
The items being returned must:
- be in their original packaging.
- have all original factory documentation, parts, hardware, etc. enclosed.
- not be used, installed, altered or disassembled in any manner.
- not be damaged due to incorrect use or installation.
Upon receipt of the returned item or items, the returned goods will be inspected to ensure it meets the return criteria. We will then notify you by email or phone within 24-48 hrs upon product receipt if the product meets the return requirements listed above and is approved for a refund. If your item does not meet our return criteria, we will contact you immediately and work on a mutually acceptable resolution.
In the event that a defective product (within 1 year of the original purchase date) is being returned for credit and another is being sent in its place, we offer two options:
- Option 1 – Once we receive & verify the defective unit, a replacement will be sent out prepaid by Southwestern Microsystems via FedEx ground. If customer wishes to use expedited shipping, that additional cost will be charged to a credit card and is subject to the additional $75 handling fee.
- Option 2 – Southwestern Microsystems Inc. will charge a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) the cost of a brand new replacement unit only - no “ground” shipping charges. If customer wishes to use expedited shipping, that additional cost will be charged to a credit card and is subject to the additional $75 handling fee. Once we receive the defective unit, within (10) days of the RMA issuance and verify it is defective as a result of a manufacturing issue and not customer damage; we will authorize the refund of the new purchase price to the credit card. Again we do not refund any shipping costs.
